PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN - TCC

The Patient Care Technician program is a sequence of courses that prepares the student that is currently certified as a nursing assistant for a career in the health care field. The program emphasizes a combination of theory, clinical and practical experience application necessary for successful employment.

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
* Must be 16 years of age
* Official high school or GED transcript is required to apply
* Achievement of minimum program admission scores in Reading, Language, and Math
* Transfer of previous post secondary credits will be determined by the registrar.
Student Performance/Graduation Requirements: Students must maintain a 2.0 grade point average and complete all required courses to graduate.
