GENERAL OFFICE ASSISTANT TECHNICAL CERTIFICATE
The General Office Assistant program is a sequence of courses that provides training
for students entering the general clerical and secretarial areas of employment. In addi¬tion,
this technical certificate will prepare students with instruction in business English,
keyboarding, job preparation skills, and computer and software usage. Graduates of the
program receive a General Office Assistant technical certificate of credit.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
ATC’s Career Placement Office is available to assist students in finding employment in their occupational fields.

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
* Must be 16 years of age
* Official high school or GED transcript is required
to apply
* Achievement of minimum program admission
scores in Reading, Language, and Math
* Transfer of previous post secondary credits will be
determined by the registrar.
Student Performance/Graduation Requirements: Students must maintain a 2.0 grade point average and complete all required courses to graduate.
