Financial Aid Workshops

Financial Aid Representatives are available to assist students in completing online applications for financial assistance. Workshops are held:

  • Tuesdays: 12 noon to 2pm,    Room 2142
  • Wednesdays: 4 pm to 6pm,    Room 2142

General Eligibility Criteria
Although there are specific criteria governing each SFA program, all SFA recipients must meet the following criteria:

  • U. S. citizenship or eligible non-citizenship
  • Selective Service registration, if required
  • High school diploma, GED or meet the Ability-to-Benefit requirements
  • Enrollment in an eligible program of study
  • Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
  • Not owe a refund to a federal grant program or be in default on a federal student loan

Apply Early
Students are encouraged to apply for federal and state funding EARLY! Students who complete the application process at least 30 days prior to enrolling are normally assured of having the funds to meet the cost of their direct educational costs. Direct educational costs include tuition, activity fees, registration fees, insurance fees, and parking fees.
