Age: Applicants for admission must be at least sixteen (16) years of age. Applicants for cosmetology and allied health services must be seventeen (17) years of age or older, and applicants for the legal assisting program must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

Education: Educational requirements are determined by the Department of Technical and Adult Education and the college. Requirements vary according to the program of study. A high school diploma or the equivalent GED is desirable but is not an entrance requirement for all programs. All applicants must have graduated from high school or completed the GED requirements prior to graduation from a program.

Admissions Testing: Applicants must take the required admission placement test or submit satisfactory SAT or ACT scores. Test scores will be considered valid for a period of five years.

Application Deadline: Applicants for admission to degree, diploma, and technical certificate of credit programs are asked to have all documents (transcripts, test scores, etc.) on file in the Admissions Office according to the deadline dates, which are published in the school calendar.
